  • If you prefer an easy replacement process, buy a lamp with housing.
  • Alternatively, choose a bare bulb without housing if you already have experience with replacing bare bulbs and are willing to deal with the more challenging replacement process.
  • If you do not want to compromise on projection quality and reliability, choose an original manufacturer lamp.
  • If you prefer a cheaper option and projection quality and reliability are not your top priorities, buy a generic lamp.
  • A suitable compromise is the original bulb inside option. It provides the same projection quality as an original manufacturer lamp, yet for a better price.

Easy replacement process for everyone

All you need to do is loosen a few screws in the projector, remove the entire lamp housing, and replace it with the new one. You can choose from 2 lamp options - original bulb inside or generic.

  • Original bulb Inside

    The for OPTOMA CP705 original bulb inside includes a bulb from one of the OEM manufacturers (Osram P-VIP, Philips UHP, Ushio, Matsushita, Iwasaki HSCR) and has plastic housing from a generic manufacturer. This is a very reliable solution and is cheaper than the original manufacturer option. We recommend it thanks to its reliability and affordable price.

  • Generic lamp with housing

    The for OPTOMA CP705 generic lamp with housing includes generic plastic housing and a generic bulb from an authorised manufacturer of generic lamps. It is a cheaper solution recommended for in-home use, where projection quality and reliability are not as crucial. Even though generic lamps are not necessarily of the same quality as original manufacturer lamps, their price is nevertheless very attractive.

  • Original lamp without housing

    The original for OPTOMA CP705 lamp is a bare bulb from one of the OEM manufacturers (Osram P-VIP, Philips UHP, Ushio, Matsushita, Iwasaki HSCR) and is designed to replace the lamp in your existing lamp housing. This solution is cheaper than a lamp with housing, although it requires a certain amount of manual skills. This option is recommended for customers who already have some experience with bare bulb replacement.
