Have a look at how easy it is to replace a projector lamp
In the first video tutorial, you will learn how to correctly remove the original lamp housing from the projector and how to install a new one.
If you have ordered a lamp without housing, please watch the second video, which will show you the slightly more challenging replacement procedure of changing bare bulb in the original lamp housing.
We offer several types of projector lamps. The most common types are:
Projector module lamps with housing
- Original manufacturer projector lamps
If you choose an original manufacturer’s lamp with housing, you can expect maximum reliability, yet at a higher price. Changing the lamp is very easy. The lamp comes in the original plastic housing. - Original bulb inside lamps with housing
This option consists of the original bulb with generic housing. It offers reliability comparable to an original lamp, however at a lower price. It’s a lamp with housing and is therefore easy to change. - Generic lamps with housing
This type of lamp is much cheaper than original lamps and offers a sufficient level of reliability. Changing the lamp with the housing is easy. The lamp comes in generic plastic housing.
Projector lamps without housing
- Original lamps without housing
This option offers maximum reliability at a lower price.
Changing the bare bulb, however, is a more complicated process than an option with housing. Careless handling may reduce the product’s lifespan. - Generic lamps without housing
Bare generic bulbs are the most budget-friendly solution.
They are not always as reliable as original bulbs and also changing them is more complicated compared to lamps with housing. Careless handling may reduce the product’s lifespan.
